Kept getting a bugged out underground map Ambush covert mission

As the title says. Instead of your typical Lost map, I kept getting a really unpolished, messy underground mission with no way of escaping forcing me to sacrifice 2 of my soldiers to a bugged out map. Is it something have to do with the workshop I've subbed or the game files could use some validate?

That's what I thought at first but I havent sub to any map. Just cosmetics, Quaility of life and other essentials mod requirements for the other mods to work. I did sub to lwotc but I unsub it due to very complicated playstyle.

When you add/remove mods have you cleared config files? It could be some mods you used previously (like LWOTC) have left some traces in your configs. Are you or have you played Covert Infiltration? It frequently has a subway map for Ambush missions.

You mean Central tells you it is an ambush during the mission? That is no bug, just a hard mission.

For me is to reinstall the whole game, cleaning cache hasn't really working much. You should also uninstall what add-on/mods you haven't used awhile before reinstalling so that they don't cause your game to lag and break.
