No. It is a seperate heal.
Further.. it can *Unpanic* AND *heal* the same target, including multiple targets, before it moves to the next soldier to heal.
Its a great Panic Button if things are getting grim (1 panic soldier that needs to move to survive next turn, and 3 needing 5hp heal).
didnt think about blending combat/hayware and resto... thats actually a pretty strong combo... and good sence to level a few Spec's early game.
I just asked because I used to follow the "Recommended build" topics over at PC gamer and their guides recommended "Capacitor Discharge" for both Specialist builds (Hacker and Medic).
I've stopped following their build guides though.
