What mods to get 8 soldiers on each mission ? SOLVED

Im having trouble ( lets just say it, ive failed ) getting my squad from 6 to 8 soldiers on any mission.

I use the following mods

1. More squad size upgrades ( to buy more slots for soldiers )

2. Larger starting squad ( ive never seen the scrollbar )

3. UltraWide Squad Selection UI Fix ( to have the extra 2 show up.

Are those the correct mods or am i way off base here ?

Ive followed the instructions and changes the ini files from true to false but still no joy

I'm using #1 with great success, i believe having both may cause your problems. UltraWide as fa as i know is only beneficial if you run 21:9 ratio.

try long war tool box in the edit options menu you can set it from 4 to 12
there is also an ini edit in one of the defult files to set how many people are in the sky ranger.

How do i access the lw toolbox please ? In the descriptionit says you can change things when you start a new game, how can i change things on a game already started and saved ?

I do have that mod installed btw : )

Read. Your mods are conflicting mssu is not compatible with LWToolbox.

Thanks for all the help, checking options in game allowed me to access the long war toolbox : )

I changed the default squad size i thought to 8 but i got 10 in my 1st mission lol

thats to many so i need to turn it down a little.

Keep in mind that the two GTS squad upgrades add to the maximum number set.
