a good iprovement imo.
You'd think an advanced life form would be able to tell that being flanked by an enemy isn't the best time to make a psi zombie that is entirely dependent on you for survival.
Seem to have lost half their brain though. Every Sectoid I've come across since the update has run into the open instead of taking cover and stood there. One actually hid behind a car and spent every turn running out of cover then right back into cover.
I've seen it a few times, usually after watching the rest of the pod get destroyed, the survivor just freaks the hell out.
vanila bug, if you kill a pod's leader as it walks into vision (first encounter, doesn't work with concealment ambush afaik, don't use that ♥♥♥♥ since tutorial), pretty high chance the pod bug sout
For example, officers very rarely run overwatch when there are normal advent around. Sectoids flee a lot and stun lancers (as we all know) have no regard for their own health at all
Sure suprised me the first time I played the new DLC.
But then quickly adapted :P they are still weak as heck. they need beter armour and weapons.
We need a new sectoid commander type !
LoL you must be playing a different AI then me :P
On my game the sectoid cause they have more HP always seem to run to trigger the overwatches.
instead of fleeing.
Lately it seems AI is a lot more agressive with me :P nothing retreats unless another squad is let say very closeby.
Even the shieldbearer instead of buffing itself. rather run forward and take a flank shot!
You'd think xcom would punish such reckless shenanigans, considering sprint-slash is the most reckless thing you can do because it aggros 20 pods.
