XCOM 2
Does enemy have Xray vision? or is this game ♥♥♥♥.
I keep getting shot throug walls and floors,It happen only when my squad is revealed but still there is not even a single members of their squad having sight of my units, my unit can be standing behind a wall on secont floor not even close to an opening and yet they get crit to the face.I don't remember this from Xcom 1 , and they dont mention ennemys having xray vision so I would like to know.

no I can't shot them, last time it happened I was hidding behind a hudge van and coulnt see the enemys behind so i presumed they woulnt see me but they did.
Sight lines are poorly designed in this game, enemies will spot you through walls.

I did the Black site misson, things were going great, even after missing 10 70% chance shots in a row. But suddenly, Muton and company decide they can see me, despite there being no windows or ladders they could see through. Enemies get a free move towards my squad since it was my last soldier that "spotted" them, despite the soldier right next to her having 0 vision on the enemy. Muton KOs my support unit and dodges every shot fired at him despite being flanked, then smacks my Ranger, stunning her. I managed to extract with 0 casualties, but that one moment of bad design made an almost flawless run into a mass visit to the AWC.

For this game to be out for this long, disappointed is an understatement that this was never adressed. Not to mention the amount of physics-defying that is still present (ex: Vipers pulling people through walls, let alone having the tongue strength to pull a fully grown human weighed down by equipment. The amount of muscle density required for their flimsy tongues to pull off such a feat would cause their heads to collapse into themselves. Not to mention they're SNAKES, not FROGS! They don't even fall under the same category of animal!).

Suspension of disbelief is one thing, but breaking the laws of reality is another.

The games has a very loose definition of Line of Sight. Or the developers are really bad at geometry.

I notice quite a few walls are translucent (many of the blacksight walls are I noticed) but it is not obvious without looking close. Damaged walls tend to be as well as parts of roofs. Also the 'vision to step out from high cover' mechanic can seem to cause weird los issues but it is a game mechanic. I have no los issues at all now I got to grips with the mechaics although I am not saying it don't happen.

right. So you believe in plasma weapons and aliens and flying drones that never run out of fuel and psychic powers, but an alien snake with a strong tongue is somehow too much?

Like I said, suspension of disbelief vs reality breaking.

Those plasma weapons, fueless drones and aliens are all possible and hell, even psychic powers might be possible (the brain uses electrical pulses to function, so it would be feasible to amplify them to a degree where they can affect the world although the psychic in Xcom seems more like space magic than actual probable psychic powers).

But no, the Yoshi snakes make no scientific sense. Muscle density doesn't match. Not to mention snakes can't lasso their prey, that's a frog's domain. And you can argue that genetic tampering made it possible, but the rest of the body would have to be built to absorb the backlash of yanking a fully grown human from their position (and remember, they yank people through walls). This is unlikely, because they'd shrug bullets off like they were flies with that much muscle density, not to mention the bone structure they'd need for it (which is also lacking, seeing as they are super nimble).

The enemy just doesn't make sense. Every other enemy can be explained with "Advanced Sciences" but the viper just doesn't fit the laws of reality.
Some doors will not work. It's the same as XCOM EU:EW's barnyard map. The random generation avoids this a little bit more, but at the same time makes it more common if you get the same parcels generated... Units will path through the doors, and you can hear the door open, but it'll be closed when you go to it..

I recommend downloading Gotcha to see sightlines.

If you get shot by a alien weapon it does 3-4 dmg but a reanimated mutilated corpse can ♥♥♥♥♥ slap you for 3-5 dmg well that make sense... if one of your soldier get on fire it will do 3 dmg per turn.. and the worse is probably the freaking panic, freaking dice roll everytime,I am sure its common for people to panic in combat situation and it make them do pretty dumb stuff but I very doupt it can make them leave their good cover climb down a building and hunk down infront of their ennemys, or when they panic one turn away from the evac and the timer goes down and you loose them, or if your very lucky they can even take out a grenade and throw it at their friends, in xcom one I remeber them shootting their friends but that make a lot more sense to me, I always get amaze by the amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is throwing at me lol, its like it want me to unistall, Once i even got one of my soldier panic then throw a grenade at civilian standing right next to him and blew himself up.

Oh and did you ever notice how the game try to ♥♥♥♥ with you in secret, like it will change its own rules sumtimes for reason i don't understand, I nocticed in the first mission if you sneak around the first 3 soldiers to go gank the other squad in the back afther passing a certain point it will trigger sumthing that make the 3 soldiers walk directly to your position, also in escort mission, the person you have to escort will most likely survive one gun shot and will never panic, I don't feel like this xcom was made to be enjoyed on iron man. But I only play on legendary so maybe its my fault.

Save and reload usually fixes it for me.
