Also; which mod could possibly be the problem? Has anyone else reported the problem.I don't use obscure mods, there'd be others who had the problem, wouldn't they?
sorry but that is wrong, while if automatically staffs the first SPARK that needs healing (and any subsequent one if the slot if free) you DO still need to staff them in the engineering bay. You can only staff one at a time, though you can send them on missions even if they are not fully repaired. You can see johnny 5 being repaired in this pic;

as for OP, chances are you can't staff him because he has no damage yet, just a guess..but beyond being healed they don't do anything in the engineering bay, it works just like a AWC with how it heals them
Apparently simply turning it off undoes the conflict with Alien Hunters; but not with the Spark. It requires a new campaign.
This is becuase it auto occupys the slot in engineering.
When its on full HP it cant be forced into the slot.
Healing it using the spark skill at the end of a mission also doesnt seem to do a full heal.
Generaly at the after action report it will still have lots of HP to heal.
If you have multiple sparks and more than 1 is damaged. You can use the engineering slot to decide which one gets healed first.
