Do DLC missions expire?

Just a quick question, I am wondering if the DLC missions for either Shen or Hunter disapear forever if not activated quickly on the map? I imagine I would at least want some decent weapons before I go king slaying.

Ya you might want to wait a little bit, In Shen's MIssion you have to fight a sectopod, I had soldiers with the max rank of sgt. it was a rough fight.

the sectopod however has little armor, the spark you get inside the mission will strip it off easy, so honestly sgt classes are ok, just toss some bluescreen ammo on them, and/or an emp bomb and it'll get EASY...especially if you hack the secto after a number of enemy's have gotten there...

It has a decent amount of armor. The main thing is it has gobs and gobs of health. Takes quite a while with ballistic weapons and no bluescreen (which makes the entire mission a cakewalk since that will make even a ballistic pistol instakill the mecs and nearly kill the turrets)
Thankfully Julian wasn't programmed to aim for ♥♥♥♥, and it doesn't do much damage (3 with a 25% chance of 4 and 1 shred)

In Alien Hunters you need to scan for the two preliminary P.O.I scans because if you don't you won't trigger the actual Nest mission and also lock out the Alien Rulers. With Shen's Gift however seeing as it's just a one time scan thing, there isn't such a penalty.
