Spark abiities list (shen's last gift newest class)
Squire

Overdrive - Take three actions this turn, and no action is turn-ending. Multiple Standard Shots incur a small recoil penalty.

Aspirant

Bulwark - Gain a bonus point of Armor, and always provide high cover to all adjacent squadmates.

Adaptive Aim - When overdrive is active, Standard Shots do not incur recoil penalties.

Knight

Rainmaker - Equipped heavy weapons deal +2 damage and have increased area of effect.

Strike - Attack any enemy within movement range with a powerful melee attack.

Cavalier

Intimidate - When targeted by an attack, the enemy has a chance to panic.

Wrecking Ball - When Overdrive is active, break through walls and cover when moving.

Vanguard

Repair - Send the BIT to a damaged robotic ally and repair it. Advanced BITs can repair slightly more.

Bombard - Launch the BIT to any visible location where it releases a powerful explosive blast. Advancedd BITs do more damage.

Paladin

Channeling Field - Every time you are targeted, part of the energy is channeled to your elerium phase-cannon. This energy is unleashed with your next Standard Shot.

Hunter Protocol - When an enemy is revealed, there is a 33% chance to take a free Overwatch shot.

Champion

Sacrifice - Generate a protective field which redirects any attacks against allies inside it towards you. Gain bonus defense and armor while active.

Nova - Release a blast of energy, damaging all nearby enemies. This attack has no cost or cooldown, but consecutive Novas will damage the SPARK.

Hope this helps you all.

I like the spark unit. A bit confused Why shen was just making a mech when we had the cyborg type mechs previous to that. Seems like he took a step backwards. Still like the johnny 5 head though.

You never had cyborg mechs before that.

Spoiler:

Let me remind you that storyline wise, Enemy Within never happened in reality but only in the mind of the commander as a simulation.

Summary since you didn't pay attention to the storyline:

Xcom: Enemy Unknown starts, Xcom survives only a couple of months and than the commander is captured by the aliens. He (you the commander) spends the next 20 years having combat simulations run in his head by the aliens.

Most of Enemy Unknown (including winning) and all of the DLC (including Enemy Within) never actually happened in the reality of the game universe.

The story in Xcom2 covers this (you even save the commander as the first mission in the tutorial...) and the prequel book (to Xcom 2) covers more depth of that as well.

So, Shens last gift? Yea, that's what he was actually working on back in the day. No genetically modified troops and no mechs.

The Spark model is so big it covers part of the skill selection box, so I can't select some of them because I can't click them, the click actually ends on the Spark's body, because the model has ain invisible hitbox that is slightly larger than the model itself.
For example, right now I'm supposed to choose between Intimidate and Wrecking Ball, but I can only click Intimidate.

are you not playing in wide screen? spark doesn't come anywhere near the skill selection box for me (1920x1200)

can you turn him sideways?

i know you can spin them around in customization, i dont think ive ever tried moving them during skill select, but its worth a shot

I've used the mouse wheel to turn units to get them off of the skill boxes before, for just normal units that manage to cover the odd box.
