Can't Upgrade Alien Hunters Armor

Hi guys, I can't seem to upgrade my RAGE and Serpent Suits. Is there a requisite research for this? Thanks in advance for answers!

You have to complete the alien hunters mission before you can upgrade. Then you need the appropriate level of tech. I forget whether it is a proving ground option or a build item option.

IIRC, the rage and serpent suits are considerd to be Predator Armor equivalent suits and as such are only upgradeable once you have completed the research for Warden Armor. Once the research is done you can go into the build item screen in engineering and their should be an option to upgrade to RAGE armor and another to upgrade to Serpent Armor along with the option to upgrade your Prdeator Armor to Warden Armor.

The Archon Armor is not upgradeable as it is a Warden Armor equivalent suit to begin with.

I accidentally forgot to enable Alien Hunters for my ongoing campaing. But i still saw them in Engineering for build items after i got fairly far through the game? I bought them but cant equip them so i just wasted lots of resources. Is there any way to enable dlc for campaigns that are ongoing? Or any other suggestions on how i can fix this???

The enable/disable in the game setup only affects the story missions. The other content will still be present.

You don't need the DLC mission active to use these armors, if they show up on their own that means you have the 'integrated' option selected and using them shouldn't be an issue. So the only question I can think to ask is, who were you trying to equip them on? Hero classes can't use them, only regular soldiers. That's the only thing I can think of that would stop you from using once once it is completed in the Proving Ground.

Yeh i tried using them on every single one of my characters. The suits just didnt pop up as an option.
