Xcom 2 MSVCR120.dll missing

I got Xcom 2 during the summer sale. Looks awesome and really looked forward to play it. But after downloading it I got this Error.

I've been looking on many forums and websites and still can't find a way to fix it.
My computer specs are good enough and I have downloaded SP1 and Visual C++
Even reinstalled my graphics card drivers. Still to no avail. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I also saw a lot of people point toward dll-files.com but I don't want to pay for it.
So if anyone out there has any idea how to fix this please help me out.

Try reinstalling vcredist_x64

Go to C:\steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\_CommonRedist\vcredist and run any and all files named vcredist_x64 or vcredist_x86.

x64 is for 64 bit windows
x86 is for 32 bit windows

I know you may have already done this but have you tryed to verify the game cache through steam?

I figured it out I had to download sp1 through the internet. The other one I had was corrupted

Yep. MSVCR is the Visual C++ runtime and is absolutely free. Charging for it is a scam IMO.

In case anyone else is wondering about this DLL (this kind of thing pops up a lot), 120 is the 2013 version. You can download and install for free from Microsoft here:
