XCOM 2

I have been tring to exit the XCOM 2 game with alt tab and it's having some major difficulty.
I was trying to take a screen shoot with alt-print screen and then I pressed alt tab. For starters, I was not able to get the steam client to take a screen shot as well, but I was able to exit it the second time I tried. The first time just flashes the screen when I press alt-tab. After I returned to the game I was not able to exit it with escape to bring up the save game menu. The first screen shot was just black as well as a very interesting problem with my keyboard. The keys were changed some how, I mean, after I closed the game and started typing in the steam client. Any key I pressed was changed to alt....Please help. to fix this I removed my power from the keyboard and mouse.I wonder what else got changed?

It's most likely something with the key-bindings. Some games are hard-coded and interfere with the Steam controls. I've changed my screenshot Steam button to F12 for this reason.

It also sounds like you need some computer cleanup. As a basic I encourage C-Cleaner from Piriform, as it is effective and safe. (Computer nerds flexing their cybermuscles are gonna hate on registry cleaning, to show off ... idkwhat, research if you're conflicted.) The point being, you should update your computer and graphics driver- and clean your registry, the second feature of the program. It doesn't hurt to clean up temporary files once in a while too. Registry should be checked after cleaning too, as it doesn't get everything the first time.

With things update, and bloat cleaned off your system, a good old restart usually results in a nice clean load for me- as well as prevents the program from hanging when you tell it to shut down.

Hope this helps. :KneelingBow:

Borderless windowed mode, nuff said...

Also I'm guessing you're using one of those older keyboards that doesn't come with the "Windows icon" key/button which acts just like pressing ALT + TAB but with only one key press :/

It was in boarderless. and I only use microsoft keyboards. I've also noticed that my button clicks are now not working when I click the first time on the first use in a while. I fixed the problem I think. I just reinstalled the drivers for the mouse and keyboard.
