IF the shot misses. a regular stock will do 1 damage and advanced stock 2 damage.
Only when shielding comes into play does the missed shot damage get reduced.
But anyway I think it just a duplicate weapon bug. if you leave the weapon in the inventory and upgrade your weapons. sometimes it creates duplicates but both carry the same tag.
Unless you rename the weapon.

I mean, it doesn't make sense, but after equipping a stock I did damage on a failed skulljack so I really have no idea.
but yeah, stock against armor does a minimum of 1 damage, but armor reduces the damage to 1.
its not bypassing armor, the game just has a minimum damage of 1.
