Who Does the Frost Bomb Freeze?
So, I've found out on two seperate occassions, that the Frost Bomb has no real effect on gatekeepers. I think it takes away one AP, but still leaves them with enough to Psi Bomb me.

Going into the final dungeon, in position to get the no deaths on Commander achievement, so I'm a bit extra paranoid. Is the Frost Bomb similarly ineffective versus Sectopods and Avatars? I'm assuming the Frost Bomb will at least hold the Avatar in place so he doesn't run away from me, but I want to know if he's going to still be able to take an action on his next turn if I don't kill him.

Ditto with Sectopods. I don't want to waste my one and only frostbomb on him when it doesn't serve it's purpose, especially when I still have Stasis and Hacking as alternative options.

I think the Gatekeeper is only immune because it floats.

I've never had issues with freezing anything with the frost bomb.

sectopods will still get one action after being frozen.

I froze a Gatekeeper when it opened its shell. I don't know if it works while in "defensive" mode. I froze a couple of sectopods too and they were thawed and lost a turn too.

I used it to freeze an Avatar and it worked well while I dealt with other bad guys.
I've froxen a Sectopod for a full turn with it. Never tried it with Avatar, though Gatekeeper seems to only get a 1 AP reduction instead of losing a full turn, for some reasons.

Oh yep. Found that one out the hard way, I did. :dreadnought:

Tbh I think that was the last time I used a frost bomb on that particular playthrough, all the Rulers were dead anyway.
