Powered Weapons Research?
So I know building a WAR Suit triggers the ability to get Experimental Powered Weapons. However, I've got a Berserker Suit that could stand to be upgraded to it's T3 version instead. Will that get me access to Experimental Powered Weapons? I'm pretty sure I got access to regular EXO weapons research when I got the T2 Berserker Suit, so I'm guessing it carries forward.

Just want to check in on this one, I'm in a really good spot in my game (C/I, all three Rulers dead, no soldier casualties) and I want to maintain the paranoia that got me to this spot in the first place. The Berserker Suit upgrade isn't that high on my list unless it does give me access to Powered Weapons research, so I wanted to check in on that first.

Oh, and a side note. Nothing to do with the above, but I don't want to clutter the forums. Do Swords (and Axes) now benefit from the GTS Ranger Skill that gives +3 damage on flanking hits? I've noticed my Axe damage seemed wonky, but it didn't occur to me until now that this might be the reason.

thegrimsqueaker72's R.A.G.E. Suit Unlocks Heavy Weapon "adds the R.A.G.E. suit as an alternate requirement for the Experimental Heavy Weapons project in the Proving Ground, and the same for its upgrade/Powered Weapons"

I don't believe melee weapons benefit from Hunter's Instict. There's a "Hunter's Instinct for Swords" mod and also "Charge!" which increases melee damage based on squares moved.

That mod says that you can't get Experimental Heavy Weapons with just the RAGE Suit, but I did, actually.

Thinking it over a bit, I'm actually not all that interested in rushing Powered Weapons anyway. I've decided to skip purchasing the basic T3 armor, so that means I should rush production on my other suits to get them up to T3 as soon as possible.
