What is the highest kill count you've had in a mission?
Both with and without the lost. I know that the distinction is vanishingly small by the time you are prepared for operation leviathan, but still I'd like to know.

Don't know exact figures.

With lost I remember seeing it over 100.

Without lost I had an Avenger defence mission where I couldn't get LoS from a sniper to the device and had to move soldiers forward. I think that was about 50 by the time I had fought everyone back to the ramp.

Obviously any mission with the lost will result in tons and tons of kills. I kind of wish they didn't count lost as kills on the soldier information screen, because obviously any soldier who has been on a lost mission is going to have a zillion more kills than a soldier who hasn't, so it gives misleading impressions. It's more fun when you can compare the kills you have against aliens and advent alone.

My highest kill count is 24 in avenger defence mission.

I use a mod to delete the lost.

If you've played LW, you're easily going to encounter missions, especially when chosen track your ship down, or when you do the final liberation missions, that have you kill over 50 enemies

highest kill count was around 90 kills on the scripted regular avenger defense mission that occurs after completing some story objective. Since i delayed doing anything story related until way past endgame, reinforcements get cut to pieces by bladestorm templar and regular overwatch fire the moment they land. technically could have gone forever but game was starting to chug with all the bodies, got down to like 15 fps before i called it quits.
39 in most missions but my highest with a few of my squad dying would be around 110's really crazy lost mission.

70 something with lost of course.

I recall one i needed to do but couldn't infiltrate so i sent the SPARK Squad in who where there for just such missions and it started with 60+ aliens on the field, the aliens were jammed in so it was a field day of shredstorm cannons.

Otherwise i don't really bother taking note of how many kills in any given battle, played so much it doesnt stand out unless its exceptional.

It would have to be that lost mission Gur-Mai Balladhur turned up, and she was weak to explosives. I managed to blow here up with repeated applications of explosives, but what a lot of lost. I did not remember the number.

they were still coming when I gave up, Lw mission where you can stop after the timer but the lag was getting terrible with the body count

Around 100 i guess. I dont really prolong missions longer than i need to and when i do it is never 20+ turns extra.

79, it was a raid mission, with advent mechanical enemies and lost. So many explosions.....

i just got to 201 on LWOTC.

Was on a Haven evac mission with my 8 best guys, including 2 Reapers 2 Snipers 1 shinobi 1 Specialist 1 Psi 1 Ranger and an Assault as the haven contact.

I camped on a cliff where the exit was when the reinforcements spawned every turn I could just pick them off with bladestorm and shoot the survivors. Turn 27 saw about 10 Greater Archons spawn... That nearly did me as they all dodged my bladestorn and overwatches, but I held on. The next one was like 10 Andomedeans.

I killed all but 4, and was forced to retreat at that point. Most of my people were immune to their acid attacks though, the next set of reinforcements came in and aIthough I got the total number down to 4, I had to pull out at this point

Only my haven dude took damage.

I dont know how to post a screen shot

Using increased pod sizes because standard ones are a poor joke:
With Lost ~550 on a horde mission. Approaching five hundred the game becomes rather laggy, afterwards very crash prone. Was done to level up some low ranked soldiers on a resistance op, everyone lots of explosives, Lost pods could be up to 30 individuals (usually about 18-21), and Lost spawn distance was drastically reduced to avoid waiting for them to get in range.

Without Lost: ~150. Extended turn timer, bigger pods, and Waves sitrep. Stood by the objective and slaughtered incoming pods until there was 1 turn left on the timer then destroyed it to win.

Actually just realised there's definitely a bigger count for no Lost. Again using bigger pods, the survive X turns mod adds a mission that drops four enemy pods per turn if there are fewer than 20 enemies. Using only conventional weapons I got 247 kills out of 284 present and then left because it had started spawning Praetorian Sectopods. Even with the increased squad size the mission gives you can't kill one of those things in a turn using conventional regardless of if you ignore everything else on the field.

The lost are quite hard to defeat is you simply mod away the headshot feature. Increasing their pod size just makes you level up faster.
