Play on secondary monitor
I've got two monitors - 27" 1920x1080 and 24" 1680x1050. I'd like to run the game on my secondary monitor - the larger one - but the game only wants to run on the primary monitor unless it's in windowed mode. Full screen or borderless window don't allow anything but primary monitor.

Is there a way to get around this that I'm missing?

Nevermind, I found it. The game responds to windows 10 multi-monitor window shifting of programs. IE for me pressing WIN-SHIFT-LEFTARROW moved it to the monitor I wanted.

Not sure if this will persist past game restarting but at least it's a solution. Though it keeps the resolution of the primary window - IE moving it over to the 1920x1080 monitor the game still runs in 1680x1050. Oh well..

This just begs the question: why wouldn't you have the larger one set as your primary monitor by default in the first place?

It is, but I got annoyed that the notification panel, systray, and windows start menu all function on the primary display as well. So for things like changing my audio device from desktop speakers to headset, or doing a quick secondary program execution with the windows key, etc etc - it all minimizes the game in the primary display. So I set my smaller moniter to be 'primary' so that all of that would happen there but I could run XCOM on my usual larger screen. WoW and other games work fine like this. Not XCOM.
