but car explosions definitely trigger claymores. I've done that plenty of times. Unless car explosions are not counted as environmental?
They dont trigger magnet mines, only the ones on the ground.
1) - Claymore stuck on a unit is triggered by normal explosive grenades like Stardust said (I forget if non-damage grenades work, like flashbangs)
2) Environmental explosives - cars & proximity mines - don't trigger the sticky (magnet) claymore, but trigger the claymore placed on the ground or other environmental explosives.
3) I haven't used proximity mines for so long, that now you all have me questioning whether or not they trigger the claymore on the ground? Lol
Granades, rockets, blasters, shredders etc all trigger both types of Claymore mines.
