Grenade CAN'T detonate Claymore?

I was so confused. I dropped a claymore on a pot's feet, and I throw a grenade on it, and... the pot triggered, no enemy died, the claymore is still there, sparking.
Is the claymore immune to explosives or something?

Pretty much. Other abilities and equipment in the game that can set of explosive things to be found about the maps (e.g. Void Rift) also don't work on it.

Unknown if this is intentional or just an oversight on the devs part. My moneys on the latter.

Claymore is a stupid name for what it really is. Should be called "Explosive Canister" considering how it functions. An actual claymore goes off when remote detonated, or when attached to a tripwire and activated by the enemy. Seems dumb you need to "waste" a shot shooting it when they could have just added a 1-action ability called "Trigger remote explosive" like the psionic ability.

Looks like you just got Xscammed by the game, cause they do indeed count as an environmental explosive and can be chained with other explosives.

car too it seems, I shoot rocket at a car they explode but not the claymore

strange.. usually if i threw grenade/plasma grenade at an enemy, both explosion will trigger, killing the enemy and sometimes destroying the loot : sadface :
