Alien Stasis Suit Mech Legs

Has anyone ever encountered this? I completed the mission where you have to investigate a facility and evac with an alien stasis suit. I think it was part of the Blacksite missions. Either way, when I opened the stasis chamber, a set of mech like legs appeared over the body. When I picked up the body and moved, the legs followed me wherever I went.

I thought it was a glitch, but the legs looked somewhat flashy and unique. Everything seemed normal, except for the legs following me around everywhere, and I evac'd as normal. I figured I'd hear something about it, but a few missions later, still nothing.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Mods tend to do that. I had the same thing when I was doing that mission last time. It's kind of hilarious seeing two floating pair of mech legs just casually flying by.

I'm not using mods. Just WotC with all the DLC's. I guess it's just a glitch.
