What the hell is up with these face models?

So I just bought the game because i recently finished the first one, and i'm really liking it. And this might seem bogus for some people but what the actual ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with those face pre sets... I remember having no problem at all with the one from the first game because they made sense. But these face model presets are absolutely pathetic. It really seems like the guy in charge of making them was on an acid trip. Big ass noses, swollen faces, eyes separated like frogs, cheekbones look like a tumor on their faces.. And the worst part is that you can't really customize faces.. Just choose from one of those awful presets. Looks like the characters took a beating and are al swollen up.. And before you say it. I know, they're soldiers, not super models. But again, I didn't have this problem with the previous game, And on this one there's like one or two that look somewhat normal.. Face models were clean and sharp. And again, I insist... This might seem like an absurd piece of criticism for some players who really don't care about the look of their characters. But this is a highly subjective topic.. And because of that I'm asking you, what do you think?

Agree 100% its a subjective thing but im super nerdy about outfitting my characters and the faces just look strange with no where near enough variety, its not game breaking just my thing

i just started too and same situation. loving the game though so i don't really care.
what really annoys me is the amount of talking everyone does everytime i go somewhere or click on something "commander this commander that commander commander commander"

Also, if you're talking exclusively about disliking the face models, go shove helms on your soldiers. Method not recommended with children.
