Elerium Cores? (WOTC)

Hey guys,

Is it just me, or are elerium cores realy hard to come by in WOTC? I'm about 20 missions in to the campaign, and I am finding them. But they appear to be rather scarce. My proving ground facility is eagerly awaiting deleivery.

Any one else find this to be the case?

It's a bad RNG streak.

Next thing you know, you just might get the Vulture Order from Skirmishers and you get cores 24x7.

covert ops for Alien Loot can yeild them as well if you get those.

I have oddly the opposite problem. Was always starved of them in vanilla. Now I can't seem to get anything but cores so looking for Mods and PCS.

Now that Vulture is a Resistance card as opposed to a GTS upgrade, Elerium cores are a bit more sparse in the beginning. In my last completed run, it didn't even appear in the RR. Was short the whole game.

My soldiers swim in a pool filled with elerium cores. Wish I could send some your way.

So many elerium cores, I've discovered that my soldiers were storing them inside the gymnastic vaulting horse. Also, some were concealing the elerium cores in the legs of their trousers, going outside the ship for short walks and dumping them at their feet in the dirt thinking I wouldn't see that. Lastly, this drink on the menu at the bar:

D'ELERIUM

1 oz Disaronno, 1 elerium core, orange juice, club soda, grenadine.

I've been getting elerium cores with nearly every pick-up. I don't get weapon upgrades hardly at all, and have to buy them from the black market.

I can't spend Elerium Cores fast enough. It's all RNG. Some games you'll rarely find any, other times they'll flow like water.

My current game I've never had so many elerium cores. I have never got a single PCS through loot drops in this game, but I've gotten weapon mods and elerium cores...mostly cores.

I've had other games though where I was swimming in PCS and weapon mods but nary a core to my name.

To answer the OP's question: YEAH!
I've never had more than two at a time in my current run.
Haven't been able to purchase my SPARK yet.

Really apprciate your comments, guys. On a side note, strugling with the new WOTC Avenger mission where it gets bombarded with turrets and 50,000 Advent. (Well, at least 25).

It doesn't always reward Cores - but sometimes you get one or two every 4 - 5 missions, but of course you need to get Flawless to even get the reward.

My first campaign I got the vulture faction order card early and so was swimming in cores, mods, and pcs'. My second campaign has no such faction order and things are considerably tighter. But I'm also using thr Flawless mod, which eases things a bit and mostly provides a bit of flavor and theme.

Do you guys think the difficulty setting (commander) affects how the various supplies are distributed?
