It really wouldn't be so bad if he actually sought your troopers out but he just paces back and forth in the corner whilst spouting rhetoric and insults at you.
Lol, I had this exactly happen myself recently.......
It did not go well.....at all.....
In fact the only benefit to getting his gear is if you equip it on a specialist it actually makes them useful for direct attacks.
Only the Assassin actually moves towards your squad right away.
I'd even say it actually applies to the hunter much MORE since his "tracking shot" ability is hardly even an inconvenience.
So that's two chosen out of three having this problem.
If there aren't any enemies to worry about, they are hardly a threat. Since Warlock and Hunter both tend to keep back as much as possible, they tend to be an absolute faceroll.
The Warlock was probably the nastiest surprise though. I once had him and his band of bastard spectral homies turn up on a crate retrieval and the constant explosions brought in enough Lost to resemble WWZ.
