Alternative Mod Launcher Issues with WOTC
So I can start vanilla X2 from the AML with no issues, but when I attempt to open WOTC with it, it starts loading (the app icon can be seen on the taskbar) but it soon disappears, with no errors or anything.

Just gone.

*poof*

I have tried deleting config files, and have done a file integrity check, but alas, no luck.

Really check your mods for WotC compatability.

Yeah, just figured it out myself. I had accidentally subscribed to the vanilla Highlander mod and was trying to use it with WOTC, along with the WOTC Highlander.

I promise I'm not normally this dumb.

Hi guys!. I recently found about the the AML for the game. I downloaded the file, but when I open it the first things it does is to tell me that it was not able to find any mods. I simply do not know how to make it work. My laptop is nothing fancy, I am able to play the game at it's lowest graphic settings but after a few new mods I added is struggling and I thinks that there are some compatibility issues causing the problem. Thanks for any help in advance

Try going through your AML configs to set up where to search for mods. Graphics settings shouldn't affect your launcher. Otherwise, try reinstalling the launcher.

Hope this helps!

Do you have the latest version? 1.3.1

Options > Settings

And ensure Mod Directories are set for Workshop mods and any directory for manually installed mods. Should be automatic though.

Tools > Import Active Mods

Hello Dragon32. Sorry for the delay in my response, The mod launcher is still not able to find the mods that I have currently installed. I downloaded the most recent version and still not change. 1.3.2
