As to the AML log, looks like it works fine just throws some errors on parsing some .XComMod files

Is there anything I can do that doesn't involve removing every single cosmetic mod for a game I mostly play for the characters?

There's a bunch of "Duplicate key index" errors, which I think mean multiple cosmetics with the same identifier.
The "Missing closing parenthesis" is sloppy on whoever's made that Star Wars uniform mod
I don't believe either of those would cause a crash though.
Double-check all your mods really are for WotC.
