Question: Covert mission, risk, 'chosen' will ambush ... means?
Does this mean the Chosen him/her self with ambush the mission, or that troops (not including the Chosen) will ambush. Makes a big difference re: risk assessment.

The ambush risk means you'll get a mission with the soldiers you sent to the mission (1-3 soldiers) where they are trying to get to an evec zone on a map that has lost and a few aliens. The Chosen themselves don't participate in the mission, however once you defeat The Chosen there are no more ambush risks.

its only a chance, like Eyal says its normal no big deal, in the first months its only Advent soldiers and Officers, later on it can get tricky when you have several single mutons running around in the ruins. but as long you dont send out a single or 2 bad equiped rookies on such missions, all is ok.
what you shoud avoid is "chance of capture" because there you have a random chance a soldier just get snatched away. there is also a dark event that can make this appear for one cycle at each covert ops you can choose in the ring, a real pain in the behind.
