Where is the Vektor Rifle?
I equipped Elena with a more powerful sniper rifle, but then realized she can no longer fire after moving. I liked that ability, so I went back to equip her old rifle and couldn't find it. Upon doing some searching, I found the name of her rifle to be the " Vektor Rifle". I am unable to find any weapon by that name in the load out primary weapon menu. I do have a lot of different weapons added through the mods, so there is a long list. Is this weapon called something else in the loadout menu? Help please.

it should be in her weapons choice tbh I'm not sure how you managed to change her guns because I've only upgraded the vektor rifle I haven't been able to change it even with chosen weapons.

Taking a shot in the dark here, but i assume you are mixing up the reaper's tier one primary, the Vektor Rifle, and the assasin's sniper for the sharpshooter, the only sniper rifle in the game that allows for moving and shooting. If that is the case, and you still can't find that weapon, you most likely you equipped the assasin's sniper rifle on another soldier.

Without mods, Reapers can't use anything but Vektor Rifles... But note that much like people refer to all three tiers of say, the sharpshooters primary weapon as "sniper rifles", only the first tier is directly called this (it's the Gauss Rifle and Plasma Lance for the second two tiers), similarly only the first tier is actually called Vektor Rifle, it's "Temnotic Rifle" for magnetic tier and "Shadow Lance" for plasma tier.

Also, to be clear, the Vektor Rifles don't act like Sniper Rifles either. They can be fired after moving, and rather than having an aim penalty at close range they have an aim bonus, and it's bigger than the one that assault rifles/cannons get as well. It goes up to +25 at point blank as opposed to +20.

Yeah, other than aesthetics and upgrade tech links, they have nothing to do with sniper rifles.
For what it's worth, the Temnotic is +26 at point blank, Shadow Lance +27 too.

If you have a bunch of weapons mods, I bet that one of then hide the low tier vainilla weapons to no saturate the weapon list.

If this is true you need to look for the vektor version of the best tier you already have. As pointed above, these are the temnotic rifle and shadow Lance (or something like that, I don't play the English version)

I appreciate everyone's information and suggestions. I have "Made Weapons Available" in load out and do not see ANY weapons called "Vektor Rifle", "Temnotic Rifle", or "Shadow Lance". Just now I did a lockbox project and chose to build a vektor rifle. STILL!! There is no vektor rifle. This game is fun and all, but stuff like this makes it really frustrating.

Pretty sure that's an issue with the mod, not the game's fault.

Indeed, no such thing as a "lockbox project" without a mod for example

So, this is absolutely a problem due to mods. The only way to have a weapon, then 'loose' it when swapping to another, is when you get a soldier who starts with that weapon, but you do not actually have game access to that weapon yet. You'll not be able to re-equip the weapon if you change from it. Anyway - mod problem.
