1st unlock weapons with preset addons
2nd unlock armor cutomization
3rd unlock helmet customization
4th unlock either those attitudes for troops or map parts
i know certain as far 3/4 since i beat those campaigns and will be doing 4h campaign later to unlock the 4th thing for the game.
On side note while i like the mini campaign the lore of firaxis XCOM universe went totally bollocks as far logic & cohesive storytelling goes with this DLC. It really breaks the immersion where story of XCOM2 is centered around that XCOM lost the war badly and did not get even to develop laser weapons only to find on 7th mission of the Avenger Assemble campaign crashed and quite intact FIRESTORM WTF????
Not a fan of mods but...
