Confused on Power for Avenger

If I am at my limit in power at 12/12 what ways can I increase it? Must I destroy one building and build a Power Relay before I build any more?

You don't have to destroy a building to build a Power Relay. Building one costs no power, and gives 3. Each Relay can also give more power by staffing it with an engineer (+5 power) or upgrading it (additional power station adds +2 power and a second engineer slot, elerium coil adds 5 power, requires you to research Elerium first). If you build the Relay on a Shielded Power Coil (so dig out the Unshielded Power Coil spots) then it will give +10 instead of +3 (but the shielded coil can be used to make other buildings cost 0 power, including their upgrades, and a few of them cost more in total than what you get from putting a Relay on it)

There is also the occasional scan bonus of power that just gets added to the total.

But yes just build a new power coil or upgrade and staff one you already have.

Build your power relay on a shielded coil, upgrade it and staff it and you won't ever need additional power.
