why do i have male recruits wearing short shorts to combat? i think females wearing short shorts would be pushing it too far. but theres males in them...

You have male recruits wearing shorts becuase thats what they wear in there real life activities. Since they have just been recruited from off the streets, from an assulym, from a burger bar, from a prison, from a cave , from a shopping arcade etc etc etc. You get them as they turn up.

Your not forced to send them into combat wearing shorts.

I made a rule for my team that anyone that wants to wear short shorts in combat will go on solo missions. we are trying to restore humanity, yes. But is restoring humanity even worth it if we use things such as short shorts?

The quick and easy solotion is to disable that largely terrible DLC. Then your free from short shorts and many other stupid design choices

Im not too upset with it. I do think the short shorts are dumb looking, but im purposely being dramatic because of how dumb it is. I mean i really want to meet the person who said this would be a good idea... on second thought, Id rather not.

Im blown away that whoever is in charge over there let this happen. Like maybe they just drew names out of a hat and was like... "ok joe shmoe will be creating the cosmetic DLC this weekend". then Joe Shmoe was like "ya youl regret that... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"

Have you ever seen what US military PT uniforms look like? I can't for every branch but I was in the Marines and my brother was in the Coast Guard and both of our PT shorts were uncomfortably short.

I wore military pt uniforms. The cool thing about that is you can always wear the pants. It is still propper uniform to wear the pants, and even when running together as a squadron you could have half people in pants and half people in shorts. No one ever wore shorts lol

I'd bet on the dude sporting the tight shorts and tank top will become your best killer, virtually never missing a shot no matter the odds, and always the enemies will miss him! Whilst your soldiers you've spent a while kitting out to look uber die like slugs in salt..
