WOTC VIP Rescue Bug

Hey people, I've been getting infuriating bugs that involve a few things, sometimes my soldiers cant target objectives to destroy, other times a VIP wont be activated when I run into the circle. Is there any way to fix these? They keep breaking my campaigns! Im playing with mods

I had the VIP rescue circle issue recently, had to run another squad member into the circle to activate him if that's any help

Yea, that was my first thought...it didnt work. Ive restarted the mission twice now and still cant do it. I quit my first campaign because of this and I dont want to quit another. There must be a mod that i'm running thats causing it...

I played thounsands of hours of Wotc and never happened to me so its most likely a mod issue.

I've got the exact same two bugs. Did you ever figure it out?

The way I found to fix it is move all your soldiers out of the VIP circle, save, and reload, and move a soldier in.
