combat - shot/location preview
I just started playing and learning the differences between xcom1 and 2, i seem to recall in xcom you could mouse around and get a preview of your shot option from a given location before moving there, is there anything like that in xcom2?

I'm not sure if the tutorial missions im doing right now (i'm assuming its a tutorial) cover/add in functionality as you go.

there is, but of limited use. Try Gotcha again, very useful UI-mod

Thanks, i'll check it out. Didnt know about alt either, but did pick up the little crosshair on opponents.

In the base game, the little crosshair on opponents is all you get. War of the Chosen adds target preview, which shows icons of what's targetable when you mouse over a location. It requires you to hold Alt by default, but can be set to be always on. And of course there are mods like suggested above.
