Increase the Image size for the Photobooth ( Image resolution)
Hi,

Im looking for a way to increase the image size of the photobooth ingame. I want to take a picture after a succesful mission( with a dead enemy if possible lol) and take a good picture of it with my team. I already did a poster and saw that it was save in the resolution 720x1080.

Is there any way to increase this ingame? I want to use the picture and print it on a frame :D
With the current resolution i would only get a 60x40 Picture which is rather small :P

Any help is greatly appreciated or any tips on how to increase the resolution without losing too much quality.

Many thanks in advance :)

when i opened my photobooth image this is the size 667 x 1001, 60x40 sound like a thumbnail not the actual file

i checked most of the folders and the only saves i saw where the ones with 720x1080 resolution.

What settings do you use ingame? your image size is different from mine. maybe its in correlation to the game settings ingame

Yes, the image size is set so that they are pixel perfect if viewed full screen, like you can in game on the Avenger, or when composing the poster (assuming you match in game resultion to monitor resolution). In other words, their vertical size is equal to your vertical screen size, and width so as to make the 2:3 ratio.
If you have a Nvidia card, you can use DSR to double the resolution, which will have a knock on effect on new posters, if you don't mind the fps hit.

dang so basically i would need a better graphic card and monitor to get a higher resolution in order to get a poster which i can print in a bigger size.

Im using a amd card so i cant use that feature. Fps would not be an issue for me since i would just want to create a poster in a bigger size so i can print it out :P

800x1200 is the maximum i can get posters to go. I'm literally running the game at 8k at like 10fps, if someone has a solution please tell me, I really want 4k posters

ok I found the solution what you wanna do is enable your super resolution thing in your graphics driver settings

(nvidia and amd both have it idk about intel)
for amd:
go to the software
click on settings at the top
go to display submenu
turn on virtual super resolution

okay after you enable whatever the super resolution thing in your gpu graphics settings is called, you should be able to keep running your desktop at your native resolution and then go into the game, go into settings, fullscreen mode and change it to the maximum resolution.

After you do that, go to the photobooth and instead of taking a photo, just take a screenshot.

if you need better steam screenshots you can enable saving to a different place by going to steam settings -> in game, and enabling "save an external copy of my screenshots"
