ABA seems to have a terrible track record with special mission crashes though. I'd probably start with that.
In general, whether you can do this with a given mod depends on how invasive it is.
The short answer would be to check the mod's page on the workshop.
Is there any idea how to fix this issue, atleast? Even if I start a new game it'll still eventually get to defending the Avenger.
And true, I suppose.. Hrm. Hard to find out if there's multiple of them. I guess I could ask around on their pages too.
