How to Disable Intro?

Am wondering on how to disable war of chosen intro so I can start out with one of the three new factions character in my squad. the option start with templar base says I need to disable the intro.

When you start a new campaign select advanced options and from there choose which faction starter you would like. You will start with that unit in gatecrasher along with 3 rookies instead of 4 and they will be the starting faction you have contact with.

After that you need to uncheck the "Lost and Abandoned" box. This is the thematic mission. When you uncheck that box you will start with a faction hero in gatecrasher, that is how you will know it worked. Also if you did not specify which hero you wanted to start with you will get one at random.
