Alien alloys...

3rd time in a row over two months without any alien alloys. None from the missions, none from the blackmarket. Even crawled trough a blacksite with squaddies and rookies in a desperate move to obtain at least some alloys, you guessed it got none. Anyone else getting gimped by the alloys of the chosen or is it just me?

On my first playthrough of expansion. Had to buy them twice now from the blackmarket. Everything needs them and it's hard to find them.

At the start of my playthrough I had little in alloys and elerium. Now I'm swimming it it. Try to persevere my dude.

some of the excavations in the Avenger may produce alien alloys. not as much as you'd like or in enough of a hurry.

I have a resistance order which doubles the reward from scanning. So I've never had a problem with alloys or elerium. I had a problem with supplies at one point, but I sold like 2/3 of my alloys and elerium, bought everything I needed and still had enough of them.

Alloy is pretty hard to get, unless you're lucky. I been trying to update my armor for two months now, I finally got it excavating a room in the bottom of the ship. If you see an opportunity to get alloy, go for it even if you don't need it now. Meanwhile, I have plenty of supply.

I have that order too and I am swimming in supplies even without using it, but have again zero alloys. Supplies are not the problem, the random chance of getting any alloys is. I continued my first ironman campaign untill I couldn't even resarch anything anymore. Decided to abandon ship when the first mutons arrived.

Oh well a new ironman run with better luck, when I can be bothered to do the first missions again. Dear good I hope, that this time blackmarket or avengers second floor has enouff alloys to keep progressing in the game.

In the meantime some Overfall, a criminally underrated tactics/roque-lite game.
