please be somewhat more specific abotu that.
Wraith Suit = More mobility, useful stuff like a grappling hook and the wraith ability that allows you to run through walls when activated.
They are both the same tier item, its a matter of preference between the two.
Pure Vanilla. No mods, no DLC, no nothing.
And sweet so I was right to equip my grenadier with it. Might use the Wraith suit with a sharpshooter or ranger.
You have a basic choice out of 3:
Heavy weapon, armor
or Wraith & grapple, dodge, mobility
or 2nd utility slot
Pick one. You might want different suits for different classes.
Had one equipped on my heavy. Totally saved my squad from a sectopod XD
Base game though it is fantastic. I did the final mission with 6 psi ops all wearing war suits, the idea was that psy ops aren't as good against mechanical targets so have them bring heavy weapons to deal with the robots.
Wraith is if you need the extra mobility from grapple and don't mind that grapple takes a slot up.
Normal is for specialists who like to carry around medkits and skulljack or really anyone who uses two items without them being damage grenades.
I mean, if you're at the point that you can build war suits you've already won your Xcom 2 playthrough and you should really just take whatever is coolest
Shreadstorm cannon is my fav if you know how to use it. I've cleared enitre maps of obsticles with it to the point where my XCOM turret in the Avenger defense mission could see the spike and shoot it since they have squadsight.
