[WOTC] 0xc000007b Error on DLC Only

Yo, posted earlier, but I need help. Getting the 0xc000007b error, and I've tried everything that a person can do with actual computer knowledge including: re-installing, deleting all mods, updating/repairing with VCRedist & DirectX. Internet has only helped me so much.

What I don't understand is why does this error only come up for WOTC? That means it has to be limited to the files in the War of the Chosen file right? If anyone can give any helpful suggestion, please.

I'm dying.

Well that means the problem is not the OS...which is a good thing because that would mean you could not run it no matter what you did. But it still is an error caused by some 32 bit dll or app trying to run. I would first try to install the VCRedist again. Make sure you select the X64 version.

It Getting you Rid of some changes made by some Mods, which can cause Problems too.
It will generate new when game is started. So dont worry.

You surely not having any security software running? And getting rid of the Mods as well before.

49 files after verification by steam. None of my security software is active. And I unsbuscribed from all previous mods.

Not active doesnt mean its not blocking anything. What you running? bitdefender or something like that that is able to block and change files/folders?
Some had to change things there to let xcom do his work.

have you that error before or after the launcher?

Had bitdefender, but computer friend uninstalled months before this post. Only have original Malwarebyte software remaining on computer.

And the error only comes after selecting War of the Chosen and pressing "play" on the mod launcher.

I Hope theres nothing left behind from bitdefender that could cause that or something else running background. But cant look deeper into that from far away ;)

You tried reinstall VCredist as Viper said?

2015 VC++ setup failed (0x80070666) because another version of this product is already installed. Should I look to remove it through the control panel and try installation again?

And I can just download and run installation from the browser right?

o.O im not into that Problem with vcredist.
But some of the "needed" installations are deliverd with the Steam download anyways (and normally installed too).
But u can try reinstalling them if they maybe made an error:
Just go into your WotC folder:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen
There you have folder named VCRedist. inside there is a VCRedist which would be enough to install.
Another Folder DirectX you can give a try too. (DxSetup.exe)

Maybe someone can read out of that Log, i cant :)

Tried both, didn't work. Thanks for all the help so far. Ultimately, guessing it's a bigger problem of some stuff going corrupt at some point. I might have to do a reset on the laptop at this rate. WOTC means too much not to.
