Any way to change a units class?

For rp reasons I want to change one of my specialists into a ranger, is this possible in wotc? If not are there any mods to allow this?

No, changing classes is impossible. There are however, soldier editing programs.

Unless the mod has including code for a console command, I highly doubt the console command will function on a class that isn't part of the game naturally

I'll also warn you, if using WotC, using the console command to change a soldier class will bug the soldier and prevent them from learning the extra hidden skills. It'll also bug faction classes preventing them from using the new promotion/training screen to learn their skills

yeah i figured it out. have to be perfect with the capitalization. thanks for the warning though. already went through with it (wanted to try the firebug class). thanks for the replys.
