Lastly: do a full uninstall-reinstall (or start out with a 'check' on the game and see if it's an update error that needs fixing).
You're welcome. If you still have problems, try disabling V-Sync and such in your options menu, as well as other things like blur and such. try and see if it's one of those things that causes trouble.
Well not really i want to keep my game alredy got 40 hours on it.
I use no mods, deletding the config file does nothing, reinstalling too
I deleted all old files, not connected to my present campaign ( in my experience games tend to load longer when you have many different saves, like in skyrim for example), disabled some mods ( not sure if that was the problem ) and I used a different save method.
I quicksaved via F5 and reloaded that file, finished the mission and my game did not crash.
its probably screwing up trying to calculate something wierd that happened in the mission and got corrupted.
This 100%! Thank you, it worked. I completed my mission down to right before extraction, quicksaved the mission, exited to desktop, and reloaded that quicksave and VOILA - no crash!
Edit: As Lampros said below me, I forgot to mention that I relaunched the game without mods first, loaded into the mission, quicksaved, exited to main menu, then reloaded the quicksave and completed the mission without crashing. Then I restarted the game with my mods on again. Unfortunately, it seems that I have to do this more often than not... I guess that's the risk you take when using mods.
