There is missions with unconcous soldiers that need rescuing, revival solves the problem of having to carry them out and loss 2 soldiers firepower (The revived soldier joins your squad as a fighter when you revive them).
There is way higher chance in WOTC that a soldier gets hit with something that makes it worth using rivaval on them.
Holy cow that works?! I can't believe it! Ok, guess haywire isn't an auto-pick for me anymore... dawng
Since when does hacking a Sectopod or a MEC become useless?
WotC has a lot of things (Covert, Protocol, Resistance Order) that can boost haywire but few of them are reliable
Revival on the other hand, hardly ever used but when you do it's nice, it cures KO, which is good for stunlancers and spectres, esp. lancers since otherwise that's a man down that you have to carry for the rest of the battle. Still, maybe I should've taken haywire *shrug* I can always pick it up later. I never end up using it though so revival just seems better choice for me personally.
Revival is also a blue move, you can revive and then take a yellow action, so that's +1 soldier for free almost if you ever get shadowbound.
