War of the Chosen: Action Glitch/Bug

I have played tons of Xcom 2 before the new DLC came out. I got into the routine of clicking an action (like attack or overwatch) and then getting to pick my target or confirm my action.

But now that War of the Chosen has been installed (Which I am thouroughly enjoying btw), it seems as though the game gets a bit to excited and just skips ahead of my actions.

So I will click on overwatch... and it just puts me straight into overwatch instead of asking me to click the titled button above to confirm overwatch. more importantly when I click attack... it just picks the nearest target and shoots... when I actually just want to browse my options and weigh up my %s.

This pre-emptive triggering of actions is new since the DLC and im not sure if its a new way the system works (can't see an option that disables it) or if it is genuinely a bug. Any thoughts or advice?

Hmm. Doesn't happen to me. Is it possible your mouse is broken and you are double clicking without noticing or something like this? Did you check whether it now also happens in vanilla? What happens if you use the keyboard instead of the mouse (press the corresponding number)?

Always same question, are you using any mods? When yes, get rid of em, ALL of em, make sure you have Clean install and try again

Yeah I don't have that either, but I always use the keyboard for the 1-0 skills...

No, I don't have any mods installed and it doesnt happen in vanilla. Its possible that its maybe just a sensitivity setting with my mouse on Xcom2... but i dont experience it in any other games.

I've had the same issue and my mouse is pretty new Logitech Proteus. Haven't had the issue pop up anywhere else. The other thread I saw people were having this issue with the game and their steam controllers. Couple of supposed fixes but nothing concrete I've resorted to using the key board to activate actions annoying but I can't have it messing up my ironman run

I can confirm this bug. This also happens when I use the gremlin heal. I will click on heal, and it doesn't allow me to choose from the different soldiers. It just heals a random person. Not sure what is causing it though.

I'm getting this issue too, which is REALLY bad, since it happens to do things like making it impossible to aim where your grenades go. I really hope that someone fixes this, because as it is, it's making the game completely unplayable.
