XCOM 2
Do Lost ignore Advent on Legendary?
Had a pretty challenging mission last night where i was supposed to rescue some people for the Reapers in an old Lost city; the Warlock showed up for the first time in this mission too, just to ratchet it up a bit. I was carefully fighting my way through it, and ran into a sectoid and a stun lancer, who took cover at the doorway to the building they were in.

Then, a pod of Lost spawned in right behind them and walked practically right up to them; so, I decided to ignore them and focus on the Advent, thinking the Lost would fight each other, but they didn't. The sectoid mind controlled one of my people, the stun lancer ran up and stunned another soldier unconscious, and the lost ignored them both and ran right up to my remaining soldiers.

Later in the same mission I again witnessed Lost running right past the chosen warlock, and he ignoring them completely in turn (except for continually talking about them).

I thought the Lost and Advent were supposed to fight each other? What has your guy's experiences been with the Lost and Advent? Is it just this particular mission? Or do they always ignore each other on Legendary?

There's a mod that fixes that.

Not entirely, but they sure aren't going for what would be their closest target. I think whats happening is if your guys are the first in the Lost's line of sight, they'll be 'agroed' onto them and not the advent or chosen even if those happen to be closer. I have seen Lost attacking the advent, ironman legendary.

The lost have a whopping 70% chance to attack xcom troops and we all know how this game is with %'s.

Interesting. So the Lost favor XCom over Advent by almost a factor of three-to-one. I think I'm okay with that (I mean, I play on legendary after all), I just wanted to understand the situation better.

Maybe the Lost Prefer "human" flesh:steammocking:

yeah but i understand why they did 70%. Wanted to make it a little bit bigger Thread for the Player until you know how you can handle them easily, especially when it comes in bigger waves.

On lower 2 difficulties you Oneshot them with Baseweapons. Only Thread would be Ammo.

I Mean it was like every time when new enemys coming. We all "Ohhhh.... Ahhhhh.... YaaaY"
And then we handle them and just wanna feed them and give em a collar :steammocking:

They have to target xcom because the ai is terrible in dealing with them, supressing and using insanity and whatnot

That happens? They only shoot Lost for me. Well, the Stun Lancers melee, but that's their thing so it's forgivable.

What was really annoying was that the Warlock appeared once and could use his zombie army ability on them! That was painful...

At least that's what i've seen in streams yesterday

Also read of a guy/girl who ran away from the warlock, camped a roof and let the lost chip away at the warlock even through his life regen, which took around 70 turns
