How to "Select Operation" (for Covert Actions) with Controller?

My first 'covert ops' mission screen appeared a few in-game days ago. The mission I wanted required a Sergeant and mine was tired/unavailable so I dismissed it and figured I'd do it later. As soon as I did a message saying "Select Operation" with a "Covert Actions" label appeared in the lower right of my map view with the exclamation point / orange hexagon icon indicating an action needs to be taken.


I can't figure out how the hell to click or activate it though. I'm playing with a controller and I've hit all the buttons and looked all over the map but I don't see any way to "Select Operation" or to retrigger the Covert Ops screen.


I'm guessing I'm just overlooking it, any help?

This happened to me too; luckily I had a Resistance Ring under construction and it finished soon after - you can view and initiate covert operations from that facility. I don't know how this is supposed to work with mouse, but it seems you are supposed to have the Ring to issue covert ops so I have no idea why that first covert op pops up and lets you pick it at all...

Ohhh ok, I have a Ring under construction too - so when that finishes I should be all set. Thanks for the reply! I was driving myself nuts and even restarted from a previous save to see what I missed.

For the sake of others - you can do that by pressing L3 with controller. Just realized that after 2h of daeling with exactly the same problem.
