War of the Chosen and mods compatibility

I would like to know if someone has any info on the compatibility of mods with War of the Chosen, especially "Stop wasting my time", "SkipIntro" and "EvacAll".

Almost all mods are not compatible. Only heard of a single camera mod that works, nothing else.

Stop Wasting My Time definitely does not work. And the author already said he won't update it because he can't afford the expansion. :/

He could started a tipeee or something... From what you say, it seems more a lack of motivation as well.

TBH, I am disappointed because this was one of the mod I had almost since the beginning...

Another mod that crashed my game was "Gotcha Again", a great quality-of-life targeting mod that is more robust than the base WOTC options. Not too frustrating as the WOTC version works well enough but I wouldn't mind seeing that one updated. :)

Yes, the "free camera rotation" mod from wasteland_ghost seems to work just fine, thank goodness.

Yep its down to the great modders of xcom2 to come and rescue this game yet again. Can't believe they didn't even add such things as a continue icon, evac all, overwatch all etc. Such basic requirements. Its gotta be the worst optimized game in gaming history...xcom2 that is

We'll see, I'm sure someone will take over or make a replacement for the mods that the original authors can't or won't update. Not worried.
Also, all camera mods seem to work (well, I tried three of them).

I may have to wait for the mods to catch up. Playing with only 4 classes is rough after having so many different choices.

I'm kinda surprised Firaxis didn't seek out popular mod creators and just give them early access to the expansion for free.

That said, I'm sure people would gladly donate a little money to buy them the mod in situations like this.

Personally, I'm just hotly anticipating updates for Gotcha Again (the new preview added in WotC isn't nearly as good) and Additional Icons (although I could probably settle for any mod that will at least show health as a number).

what I don't get is that people on YouTube say the mods work fine with WoTC and I see others saying they don't like, I'm watching ChristopherOdd WoTC modded playthrough and I went to his mod page on Steam and install the mods but in the launcher, I get the yellow! mark saying it's not
compatible but only contains content changes I have asked about it before and people told me to ignore it

I have 13 with the Mark (9 are Voice Packs) and have no issues with it so just try them and see if they work for you

alright it's just confusing is all
