No advanced options option on new game

On LP's of the game I've seen that there is an 'Advanced Options' button on the new game screen, where the difficulty is selected. I have WOTC installed but I'm not seeing it, any ideas why that is?

You are probably either not actually running WotC (make sure you select it in the launcher) or you are looking in the wrong place. It's above the options where you can chose to skip the tutorial or some of the voice overs.

I noticed that too. Maybe they are next wave perks that only unlock after a playthrough of the campaign. I'd like to hear a more informed answer than my guess.

No, I did a complete new install, deleted all save files, all configs (meaning as far as the game is concerned I never played it before) and I still have the options available.

i cant find them either, and i AM playing wotc... i started a new game but all new options i could find was target preview. there was supposed to be grenade tweaks, dark project tweaks, dark events and a couple more i cant remember, and i cant find them... and i have a complete reinstall of the game...can anyone confirm that theese options are infact available and we arent talking about different things, one thing is finding WOTC launcher another is finding the advanced options in it.


OK, i found them.. when you start a NEW game, right above where you click the tourtorial on/off there is a button labeled "toggle advanced options view" happy gameing :)

Can you toggle them? I tried using the bottom two and it unchecks itself. Weird

yea, works fine for me...ofcause if you click the button that says tourtorial you will uncheck it... its the bar above it you need to click :)

eh? I fired it up for the first time, started new game and found the advanced options within 3 seconds...and I'm more auditive than visual...

That's unnecessary. The WOTC works like its own game, has it's own config files and saves in different folders. You deleted all that for nothing lol

I think I can decide for myself how I want to manage my system, thanks for caring.
