Can't revive? (Yes, I know to use "revive")

My soldier is stabilized and unconscious; but I can't revive the trooper - I have the option, but it's greyed out. Not stuck under a wall, and the soldier can be moved - but not woken up. In a tough battle clearing out an HQ, so I really don't have patience for a bug. Any way to fix or bypass this? Workarounds / console commands?

Edit: Yes, I know to use revive - but I can't do it here for some reason. Still alive, I checked, but can't use the option to wake 'em up.

you need a special skill to revive (not stabilize). theres a maximum amount of use on that skill too depending on your equipement and picked skills I think.

Do you have a medikit?

Stablize and Revive both use a medikit charge.

Stabilize only stops him from dying ('bleeding out'). Revive 'wakes' them up. Otherwise you have to carry them home. LOL You might have to upgrade your medic one more rank to get this skill.

Did you use up medkit charges before? Are you sure it still has a charge left?

Has more than one charge. It looks like a bug, so I'm asking for a way to kill the bug. Made sure the soldier wasn't dead - tried restarting as well - nothing is working.
