XCOM 2: Reinforcement Pack?

So i finally bought "XCOM 2: Reinforcement Pack". But how do i activate the dlc´s included in the pack (Alien Hunters, Shen´s last gift)? When i start a new game i don´t have the option to enable the dlc´s or anything...what? Can´t i enable/disable the dlc´s by choice?

If you click on the game in your steam library, you should see every DLC, when it was bought and wether it is installed or not, above the news section.

You have to start new game (it gives you option at the start of new game to activate missions or not) (for DLC mission). If you bought it but it's not installed restart steam.

Seriously? WTF! I am playing right now a campaign and i did NOT get a option at the start of the new game to activate the DLC´s. None of them.

The only place i can see it is in Steam in the properties of the game. It lists all DLC. And "Reinforment pack" is installed (none of the others are).

So you are saying that if it didn´t showed up in the menu in the beginning of the game it isn´t installed? WTF!!! So i am playing an ordinary campaign right now? Woaw...talk about wasted hours. This seriously pisses me off!

How do i install the DLC´s in the "Reinforcment pack"?

I go to the game in steam. Click on "Proporties" go to "DLC".

DLC´s listed but i can´t click on anything. There are som checkboxes that are ticked...but it´s still says "not installed" beside every DLC except "Reinforcment pack".

Restart Steam, it will start the DLC download automatically.

Also make sure it's "ticked in" if that's the phrase in your library =)

I restarted Steam multiple times since this thread. But i see that my harddrive is full...and now it is downloading something. So maybe now it works.

1. In my current game i have about 15 soldiers but nobody has gotten a "hidden abbilitie" (i have the AWC built long time ago...bug?

2. Do i need to restart my current campaign or can i enbale the dlc´s in my current campaign?

If it wasn't active when you started the campaign, you will have to start a new one in order for them to work.

If you want to play the story missions, you need to start a new campaign.

Quick question. It says that i get access to weapons and soldier class even if the dlcs are not activated. So i don´t have to do the actual missions to get SPARK and the frostbomb etc?

What those tickboxes do is enable or disable the story missions. If the story missions are disabled, there are other ways to get the equipment and sparks, and the alien rulers will just turn up as soon as their base alien type (viper, muton or archon) do. You don't want to turn off the AH story mission, I would say.

Ok, so i checked the boxes for Shen´s last gift and Alien Rulers. Now i have a mission VERY EARLY to scan a place "Locator Beacon" should i scan this or leave it until my troops are powered up? Will the rulers start showing up at random missions if i scan the "Locator Beacon"? Should i just leave it? It takes 5 days to scan.

I really don´t want to mess around with alien rulers this early in the game. That would be a squad whipe!

Don't do the locator beacon mission yet as it will trigger the alien rulers. Either leave it out or simply do it once you feel you got a good squad and are doing well in your campaign, the mission doesn't expire as far as I know.
