How to Rescue VIP from ADVENT Vehicle?

Im trying to figure out what to do. im on top of the car, on the side of the car. i dont know how to rescue him (i assume i have to click a button to get him out somehow). please help"!

There is Peter Van Do... I mean a door at the back of the car. There should apear a hack icon if you put a soldier next to it. After a hack, you can open the door by pressing the open-icon in the iconlist of the soldier in front of the door.

And how do you rescue the VIP if the rear of the van is at the edge of the map, outside the accessible area? :-(

either precisely use a grenade to blow the side off the van without killing the VIP, or cut your losses and leave.

For anyone else like me who found this thread because they've hacked the door open but the VIP hasn't actually appeared: save, quit, reopen the game, and suddenly they're there.

I couldn't even get to the vip because they were out of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MISSION AREA

open the door of the car with some hacking guy

getting some candy shop

or just blow up some entrance in the car with a grenade

This is a known issue for people who bought the game through the Epic Store. Apparently, they do not have the latest patch.

You should address this on Epic not Steam.
