Error 0xc0150004
Can anyone help me with this error. I get it whenever I open the game and I have no mods installed or DLC. I have looked into this error and have tried every fix that is on the internet and to none have worked. I would be really happy if someone could help me. Cheers :)

According to MS seems to be a VC++ bug:

Try re-running the VC++ installers in Steam\SteamApps\common\XCOM 2\_CommonRedist\vcredist

Ephixx I did not "fix it" I downloaded the game on a different computer and it works on that computer. My main computer still cannot run the game even after I tried to do what Dragon32 said.

Anyone found I solution to this? I started having it recently I got 150hrs plus in the game so???

I have reinstalled all 3 vcredist and also net4.5.1 still getting the same issue. I have made a clean installation of XCOM2, deleted and unsubscribed all modes, nothing. I recently purchased some older games (Airect Action) that might or might not have messed up some dlls? Not sure what else to think

I fixed my problem but it took a lot of time. My problem was that the windows system file had been corrupted so I did a factory restart (and if you cant do a factory restart then contact microsoft support https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/) After the factory reset my XCOM2 finally worked.

In that case, SFC might help.

Hi Sam in my case too I think corrupt dlls is the reason. SFC didn't work, repair didn't work, at some point I couldn't even open any disk managment tools, windows services or device menus. I have now purged my drive and reinstalling windows.. sometimes it's required
