Game goes on sale? This is pretty much how it works. You buy the game full price if you want to play it on release. Sales happen all the time. No real 'RIP' here.

No I meant $2. Your $12 doesn't only net you XCOM 2, if you know what HB monthly is

if you know what humble monthly is, then you know, that there is at best 1-2 "money" games and the rest are cheap (but quality and rather good) indie games. so 12/6 isn't exactly right, more like 5+3+0.5+0.5+0.5+0.5+0.5+0.5. Where on this case XCOM 2 is the 5$ one.

That's not how it works fam. You're playing into sale tactics. It's like you could buy a large bottle of soft drink for $3.99 or two for $7. You've made a saving of $1 but you've spent $3 more than you needed in the first place.

Nope, but in general there's the potential of getting up to 2 good and less expensive additional games, although there's no guaranty they'll fit your tastes. The rest will be small indie games nobody usually heard about before.

So the best strategy is looking at the main game, deciding if you want to buy it for $12 and hope to be lucky at the end of the month.

Or if you don't own many games. Getting the yearly subscription to save money.
